What if my account limit does not cover the cost of the purchase?

If your purchase amount comes to more than the available funds in your Zip account, you'll need to make a copayment to cover the difference in order to complete the purchase. 

How to make a copayment instore

 You can pay the difference via cash or card, depending on which payment methods the store accepts.

How to make a copayment online

You'll be prompted to enter an alternative payment method to cover the difference. Your copayment needs to come from a debit card.

If your copayment has been accepted, the balance will be charged to your Zip account. If the co-payment you are trying to make is too high then you might need to apply for a limit increase or simply contact customer care
