Why was my application unsuccessful/declined?

As a responsible lender, we assess and verify the information provided in the application, as well as a number of factors including but not limited to:
  • Previous credit and repayment history.
  • The number of loans & other financial commitments you may have.
  • Your residential and employment status.
  • Your income and other resources to comfortably meet the loan repayment.
  • Whether you currently have or have previously had, multiple short-term loans.
  • The number of credit applications you have made previously (both recent and longer term).
Generally speaking, we decline applications that do not meet our lending criteria across one or more of these factors. Unfortunately, we also won’t be able to provide you with the exact details around why your particular application has been declined.

We are really sorry, however at this stage, we are unable to reassess applications after a decision has been made.

If our assessment process results in your application being declined, we aren't able to specify the exact reason for this but we hope you understand.
